Buffalo NY Community Event - Holiday Gathering with Stitch Buffalo
12/14/2021
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Event Description

Join us for WIT Buffalo’s holiday gathering. We will hear from local non-profit, Stitch Buffalo’s Founder and Executive Director Dawne Hoeg. Learn how this organization is supporting immigrant women as an inclusive space for refugees to create handcrafted goods and find economic empowerment. Also learn about the workshops offered to the Buffalo community.

As part of our mission to giving back to the local community, there will be an opportunity for WIT Buffalo members and attendees to donate to this organization to assist in Stitch Buffalo’s ability to purchase an industrial sewing machine to expand their offering of textile manufacturing. We are excited to collaborate with Stitch Buffalo in this way and are looking forward to future collaborations with this incredible organization.

The second half of this event will be reserved for networking and mingling with WIT Buffalo members and enjoying each others company!
