Most people are familiar with the “Application Developer” persona, or a person who writes code to be consumed as an app on the web or on your mobile phone.  Did you know that there are actually dozens of types of software engineers across a multitude of industries?   Software Engineering is a spectrum more than a job description. There are many types of engineers working across all parts of the software development life cycle.

In this inaugural event for the WitWise Community,  the leadership team will be joined by guest speakers to talk about several different types of engineering roles and roles related to engineering in areas such as, security, patent, quality assurance, and site reliability, among others. While we’ll cover a large array of roles, these are just the tip of the iceberg.
