A technical certification is proof of capability, but the biggest benefit is "the technical growth you get through the learning journey!"
Not sure where to start with Microsoft technical certifications, what certifications/exams are available to pursue, or which one/s will actually move your career forward? I've designed this hands-on workshop to make the Microsoft credential ecosystem feel simple, doable, and even fun - whether you’re early-career, mid-career, returning to tech, or already a senior professional leveling up. You’ll also understand why getting certified matters - how the learning journey itself builds real technical skills and confidence.
We’ll navigate the official Microsoft certification pages together in real time. You’ll learn exactly where to find information for certifications, and the role-based paths: Fundamentals → Associate → Expert → Specialty. You'll learn where to locate and how to leverage Microsoft’s exam prep resources and tools. You’ll learn about the decision framework to pick the best-fit certification and/or Applied Skills credential - based on your current role, career goals, and experience. The most exciting part? - We'll explore the newest AI certifications available from Microsoft.
By the end, you won’t just “understand Microsoft Certifications” - you’ll leave with a personal skilling and certification plan, and the confidence to start prep immediately, because you’ll know what to click, where to go, and what to do next.
You'll walk away with:
- How pursuing certifications drives real technical skill-building.
- Your best-fit credential choice (certification and/or Applied Skills) aligned to your career goals and current stage.
- A step-by-step navigation map of the Microsoft credential ecosystem: poster → exam page → readiness zone → sandbox → study path.
- A ready-to-execute starter plan for the next 2–4 weeks: learning + hands-on practice + exam readiness actions.
