Beyond the Ladder: Navigating Non-Linear Career Paths is an empowering session for women in technology who are ready to rethink career growth beyond the traditional climb. Today’s careers are no longer defined only by promotions, titles, or one full-time role. Growth can also happen through parallel career streams, consulting, moonlighting, entrepreneurship, board service, fractional leadership, lateral moves, flexible work arrangements, and purpose-driven pivots.
The conversation will encourage women across career stages to ask not only, “What is my next role?” but also, “What career ecosystem am I building?”

Meet Sangeetha Agara
Sangeetha Agara is a technology and transformation advisor with experience across global consulting, enterprise technology, and business transformation. Having worked with large global organizations including KPMG, Accenture, and Oracle, she has supported the Office of the CIO and senior business leaders in modernizing technology functions, driving technology-enabled efficiency across functions including marketing, finance, HR, and operations, and improving operational effectiveness.
She holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering — a combination that explains her lifelong habit of translating between business strategy, technology teams, and everyone wondering why systems never behave exactly as promised.
Alongside her technology career, Sangeetha is also a Wellness Coach, self-published author, and founder of Nivaa, a guided wellness app rooted in Ayurvedic wisdom. Her non-linear career journey reflects the very theme of this session: expanding beyond traditional career ladders to build a portfolio of meaningful, aligned, and future-ready work.
When she is not working in either of her two career tracks, Sangeetha devotes her time to volunteering and travel. An avid explorer of world cultures, she has lived in 6 countries, worked across 6 countries, studied on 3 continents, and travelled to over 120 destinations around the world.
Through her work and life experience, Sangeetha brings a uniquely human perspective on reinvention, resilience, and navigating career paths with both strategic intent and personal authenticity.
