Successful senior leaders are under immense pressure to get results, but often, their energy is being drained by the work of maintaining and supporting their team. Many times, the team’s results aren’t where they should be.

Whether it's a cross-functional project team or a team of direct reports, leaders need a few basic tools and understandings to start harnessing the collective intelligence that's latent in their team. This will enable the team to work productively and independently, finally allowing you as the leader space to finally have time to think and get out of the weeds to focus on the big picture.

Three key takeaways from this session are:
  1. Know where to focus your leadership development efforts.
  2. Understand the three most important aspects of building a high-performing team.
  3. Tangible next steps to start improving your team’s performance today.

This is a lunch time power hour! Liz will deliver this virtual hands-on session with Q&A at the end.

Companies rarely teach their leaders how to lead their teams - leaders have to take the time to learn this on their own! Don't miss this opportunity!

About Liz

Liz established Integrative Leadership Strategies, LLC in 2006 to follow her passion for supporting leaders to achieve greater clarity, authenticity, and results. She serves organizations needing lasting leadership development that really works, while bringing more humanity to the workplace.

Liz completed her coach training in 2008 at Coach U, a leading global provider of coach training programs, and took a leap of faith leaving her engineering day job, vowing to return to corporate America to change what hadn’t worked for her. Liz's mission is to help organizations become a sanctuary for learning and truth.

Liz spent five years teaching with The Collaborative Operating System, giving leaders a comprehensive toolkit for collaboratively leading their teams and organizations using the principles of ownership and alignment instead of command and control.

Liz has coached, trained, and consulted with clients around the world, many from tech industries. As one of her clients puts it, her special power is turning a group of loosely collected people into a high-performing team. In 1-1 coaching, Liz loves working with rising leaders to dismantle their own self-constructed ceilings.

To "sharpen the saw," Liz serves as Adjunct Faculty at Northeastern University, teaching leadership and organizational development skills to PhD students and business undergraduates.

Liz earned her Professional Certified Coach credential through the International Coach Federation. She holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cornell University, as well as an M.S. in Structural Engineering from Stanford University. Liz is the mom of two young children who keep her grounded in reality.
