Women of all ages and stages of their careers should join in this informative Global Mentoring Circle!
During her We've Got WIT Webinar in February on The Girlfriend's Guide to Retirement, author Susan Klute shared the activities she prioritized and the lessons she learned along the way—highlighting that retirement is not just about leaving work but about stepping into a new, purpose-driven chapter. Whether you’re planning to retire next year or sometime this century, preparing for this exciting transition is key to making it fulfilling and rewarding.
In this follow-up interactive session, Susan will facilitate a dynamic conversation where participants can share their thoughts, ask questions, and gain deeper insights into life after full-time work. We’ll explore key takeaways from the first session, including:
- Defining Your Vision of Retirement – It’s more than just free time; how will you spend your days in a way that brings joy and purpose?
- Navigating the Emotional and Social Shifts – Retirement can bring unexpected challenges—how can you stay engaged and connected?
- Avoiding Common Pitfalls – Lessons learned from Susan’s experience to help you sidestep common missteps.
- Embracing the Never-Ending Vacation – Making fun, adventure, and personal growth a priority in this exciting new phase.
This conversation is designed to be interactive, so bring your questions, ideas, and experiences as we continue exploring how to make retirement as fulfilling as possible!
